Pasupathy starrer remake of Hindi movie Taxi No. 9211 is named as TN-07-AL-4777 in Tamil. Seen along with him in this movie will be Anjathey fame Ajmal, Simran and Karupasamy Kuthagaitharar fame Meenakshi. Pasupathy will be doing the role of Nana Patekar who is the taxi driver in the original Hindi version. Simran will don the role of his wife. Ajmal will play a rich guy who travels in the taxi and Meenakshi his lady love.
The intresting fact about the name TN-07-AL-4777 is that it was late MGR’s lucky number and found a way to all the number plates of the cars that he owned. Also to add to the intresting angle, Mahadevan Ganesh and Venkatramani of GV Films, who are producing the movie, also share the same car number plate.
The movie will be directed by director Lakshminath.
